Our Carp
There is a magnificent stock of Monstercarp in the Glory-Hole Carplake, its hard to put a estimate on the total number of carp as we cant drain the lake. From 1995 onwards the owner has stocked carp in the lake. Looking at the results over the last couple of years we know that we have a big head of Monstercarp in the lake. Also we have stocked 25 heavily scaled carp al over 10 kg and some of them are already in the low 20 kg bracket.
Please be carefull with our carp as we love our Bars of Gold.
COMMONS
MIRRORS
In Glory Carplake you will find many big commons the current lake record Common stands at 36.5 kg which is over the 80 lbs barrier.
All comons are in a very good condition some of the bigger carp are very old which shows on the head where they are completely wrinkeld.
The many other commons are strong fighters and will give you a run for your money with arm aching battles.
Most of the 20 kg plus commons are close to a meter long and they have the potential to grow in weight in the years to come.
And then there ore our beautiful heavily scaled mirrors which are a joy to see. The biggest mirror at current is 36,4kg and yes that is over the 80 lbs barrier as well. The heavily scaled mirrors are all younger fish and will grow in the years to come.
Be aware that due to the natural diet of mussels the mouths can be very hard so make sure your hooks are sharp.
As you can see in the pictures we have so many big and Beautiful carp we are very proud of this and we want to keep the beautiful and big so treat our carp with respect and handle with care.
